Apple Watch 9 LTE Aluminum 41mm Sport Band Midnight M/L MRHT3
Display and daily overview
The always-on Retina LTPO OLED display is designed to show the time, notifications, and workout data. The manufacturer specifies a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits. The actual size of the display area depends on the specific case design.
Processor and navigation
The S9 SiP with its 64-bit dual-core processor handles watchOS input and functions. Menus, widgets, workout data, and notifications can be accessed via the touchscreen and Digital Crown. It has 64 GB of integrated storage.
Health and activity
The device features optical and electrical heart rate sensors, a temperature sensor, a compass, an altimeter, and motion sensors. These allow for the recording of data such as heart rate, training activity, and distance covered. The measured values depend on how the device is worn, its usage, and the settings, and do not replace a medical examination.
Additional functions
Other features include an ECG app, double-tap gesture, and incident detection (depending on regional and software availability). The availability of individual health and safety features depends on region, software version, iPhone compatibility, and other requirements; this does not constitute a medical diagnosis.
Connected on the go
This version, known as LTE, supports mobile network services with a compatible mobile data plan. GPS, Bluetooth 5.3, and connectivity with a compatible iPhone are also available. Actual mobile network availability depends on the network and plan.
Operation and daily training
The double-tap gesture and the Digital Crown offer various ways to manage calls and everyday actions. The S9 chip also supports processing selected Siri requests directly on the watch.
Design and bracelet
The variant offered here is characterized by the following features, according to the product description: GPS + Cellular (LTE), case: aluminum, case size: 41 mm. The model series is available in different case and strap combinations; the selected version is the determining factor.
Battery and charging
Apple states a battery life of up to 18 hours for this model series under test conditions for new devices. For used or refurbished devices, the actual battery life depends on the individual battery condition, activated features, and usage profile. Therefore, a specific battery life is not guaranteed.
Everyday life with watchOS
The Apple Watch Series 9 can bring together watch faces, app notifications, activity data, and compatible iPhone features in one place. This makes the watch a suitable complement to a compatible smartphone, without replacing all of its functions.
